What is the difference between solar screen, light-filtering, and blackout?

Accepted Answer

Solar screen fabrics use defined openness factors to control glare and solar heat gain while preserving outward view. Light-filtering fabrics diffuse daylight and provide daytime privacy with no defined openness. Blackout fabrics are coated or laminated to block essentially all visible light, intended for bedrooms, hospitality, and media spaces.

Where are your fabrics manufactured?

We source factory-direct from partner mills in the USA, Korea, Germany, Spain, and China. Each mill is selected for a specific construction, performance band, or design language so we can match the right fabric to each application.

Do your fabrics meet flame-retardant and child-safety standards?

Accepted Answer

Most of our contract-grade fabrics are tested to recognized flame-retardant standards and our hardware programs align with current child-safety guidance for window coverings. Documentation is available per SKU on request at the quoting stage.
